Big Plans for Hooked on school Days in 2012!

The upcoming Journées de la Persévérance Scolaire (JPS), a regional mobilization event with the purpose of getting the community active and involved to speak to youth about effort, perseverance, the risks of dropping out of school and the advantages of obtaining a diploma, will take place from the 13th until the 17th of February, 2012.

 

Held annually during the third week of February, the JPS coincide with a crucial time in the school year to talk about the importance of student retention. Initiated in 2005 in Montérégie, the JPS will be offered in fourteen regions across Québec. Each region organizes and celebrates the JPS in the way that best suits their needs and thanks to the encouragement and consultation of local and regional supporters.
